"With the added pressures of people to please and budgets to stick to, the whole experience of planning your wedding can quickly become overwhelming."

You’d be hard pushed to find a bride whose wedding planning experience was a total breeze from start to finish.  Funnily enough, I thought I was that bride when I got married in 2015 until a series of events led to a full-on meltdown two days before the wedding!

As a self-development junkie, I have had my own journey when it comes to using tools that keep me calm and happy, as well as ones that totally enhance my life. My learnings about all this really cranked up a notch when I was planning my wedding, so I was able to put these tools into action and now I’m helping brides-to-be do the same.

Weddings shine a spotlight on ‘real life’ niggles and that’s why looking after your wedding wellbeing, and your mental health, during this whirlwind time is so important.

I have so many tools up my sleeve to share with you to enhance your wedding wellbeing…

Meditation, mindfulness, visualisation, journaling as well as some more ‘woo-woo’ methods such as manifestation!

Weddings can intensify any little niggles that are going on with those around you. From nightmare families to tricky bridesmaids every bride has a story.

Speaking to someone totally neutral whose only objective is to empower you to navigate these tricky situations effectively can make all the difference.  It’s not about me telling you what to do, it’s about giving you tools and confidence to tackle the situation in such a way that causes minimal drama, yet does wonders for your happiness levels.

Brides can be plagued with all kinds of mindset challenges – lack of confidence and self-esteem, perfectionism, comparisonitis (yes, that’s a thing), crippling nerves and so much more.

Providing tools and coaching will help you in the lead up to your wedding, and beyond.

There are so many decisions to be made when planning a wedding which can quickly lead to overwhelm.

I will be your sounding board, helping you to arrive at decisions that are right for you. This is a sure fire way to stay on the straight and narrow and be an organised bride, with less of the people pleasing!

Choosing your bridesmaids is a HUGE decision and often the wrong choices lead to drama and fallouts and who wants that kind of negativity spoiling a time that should be full of excitement and fun?

The wedding day is a blur for many brides, and in worst-case scenarios, brides can spend time worrying about the little things rather than soaking up every precious second of the day.

Mindfulness practice encourages a sense of calm, helping brides tackle their wedding planning in a methodical way. Stress is minimised and brides are well equipped to get the most out of their wedding experience – both in planning and on their special day.

AGE – 28

I started bridal coaching with Georgina around five months before my wedding. Before I had my first session I was feeling so down about my whole wedding experience because I just wasn’t enjoying it as much as I thought I would. Luckily I got recommended to Georgina and I can honestly say if it wasn’t for her I would have dreaded the whole wedding experience.

She got me on track every week and we set tasks for me to complete. I definitely would not have been as organised if it wasn’t for her. Knowing we were speaking regularly was a real incentive to get on with things. I found Georgina so easy to talk to and I felt so comfortable going through every minor detail of what was worrying me or what I felt really stressed or upset about. She was always there to get me back on track and I can’t thank her enough.

I would recommend bridal coaching to any newly engaged bride; it really changed my whole outlook of the wedding process. My only regret is that I didn’t start it sooner!

Whilst planning my wedding I didn’t want to get bogged down with the stresses that can occur during the process. I wanted to enjoy it all. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed and having regular contact with Georgina meant any worries and niggles I had were soon dealt with in a calm, understanding and methodical manner.

From financial worries to hairdressers, Georgina was happy to listen to all of my concerns and feelings, no matter how small they might have been. She was very good at communicating in a very clear and concise way. She asked good questions, which encouraged me to talk openly.

Thanks to Georgina I woke up on my wedding day feeling excited and ready to take on the day, not a nervous wreck as I thought I’d be!
